If You Ask Me Why? is a still-life project concerned with randomness, disruption and the absence of clear explanation. Events often enter our lives without an identifiable cause, becoming so deeply embedded in everyday experience that we eventually stop noticing their presence.
The series isolates fragments, materials and objects from their usual contexts, allowing apparently accidental forms to regain visual and emotional significance. Through carefully constructed compositions, disorder becomes structure, while insignificant details begin to suggest hidden tensions and unresolved relationships.
Rather than offering answers, the project remains within a state of uncertainty. It considers how meaning is created when cause and consequence can no longer be clearly connected, and how the unexplained may gradually become part of the order through which we understand reality.
